It was 6 weeks for me about a year and a half ago or so

Yeah my current safe will take 6 scoped rifles with space to spare, so thinking of buying a smaller safe to put the shotgun and air rifle in then using the 6gun safe I already have for the 6 rifles il be getting

Cheers for the input my current safe has an internal locking box (ammo box) so thinking of putting bolts in there, then ammo rifle ammo in a smaller box safe then shortie and my one air rifle in the second safe

To be honest, I don't believe a worse of anything from Twitter, plus it isn't written into the proposal so I can't see it affecting any of us

Well the 6 gun safe I have is extra deep, designed for 6 rifles anyway, and I'm either going to have to buy another gun safe or an ammo safe, it's just deciding witch to go with Yeah that would be the sensible thing to do, but selling 5 is like picking witch 5 of your kids to sell ?

So I already have my sgc and a 6 gun safe, I'm about to apply for my fac and have 6 firearms I'd like (I have good justification for them all so not worried about I il get the 6 guns or not at the moment) but my question is, do I get a bigger safe and an ammo safe, or do I get a smaller gun safe, and use that for the 1 shotgun and rifle ammunition and keep the 6 gun safe just for the rifles? May have been a wasted exercise but he wasn't completely happy as the safe is 3/4 of an inch off of the wall as Well as 4 inches off the floor, if letting him swing off the door makes him happy then so be it

To clarify, he only swing in the door because I told him it was strong enough, I doubt he wouldn't have if I hadn't mentioned it

I used 6 wall anchors to fix mine, it's 4 inches above the floor because I didn't want to cut the skirting board, and it's solid inough to hang off the door when it's open, doesn't budge

I'd say go to the shop and compare them both, tho as I recall the sx4 was the same price new as a used sx3, don't know if that's still the case tho

Hello rob, just a thought but if you have Facebook, join a group called game/pigeon shooting in kent loads of great guys there who are normally happy to let people come along and shoot with them

Cheers for the replies guys dekers, cheers for the thought and il have a look into the .243, and I don't anticipate them giving me them all, but I still want to try and have a good reason for each of them so it doesn't seem like I'm just asking for random calibers, and il definitely let you guys know what happens and Stevo the application is in Kent, not many dear round here so il just ask for the .308 with I know the rifle club will support my application for, then if I do want to shoot dear in the future il apply for a variation (if that's what the feo is happier with)

That's a much appreciated thought dougy, and I wouldn't use the term "long range" with my feo, he is pretty relaxed about most things by all accounts but don't want to give him a reason, if you know what I mean, it's just easier to make notes clear for myself that way, but any other notes or comments would be very useful
