Your invite about 12 month ago when I was panicking about getting my licence and finally got was great and the first time I came I was hooked And willing to learn of someone who has a wealth of knowledge on the subject.. I needed the great feeling and sometimes disappointment of shooting the best and most difficult avian Quarry/ pest ... wiihout people like you Jdog invitingly taking a stranger out I and others may not get so hooked... 25 to 35 mile for my nearest but it’s ok as I don’t have a perm so at least it gets me out

Turn up basically but the five fieldS nearest to me I have booked and spent a day at each looking for Feeding patterns and flight line round and about it the best I can do and I’m getting a few shots at the moment

If I get out and shoot at 20 ish Each week I’ll be happy I might even improve and get the lead right

The shotkam is 570 but keep an eye on eBay as they crop up every noW and then

Quite simple .. they are expensive but I believe worth it as a training aid to review your shots

This weekends shooting over rape for NPPC not great amounts of pigeons but managed to bag 23 of the 26 hit probably missed as many but am still trying to improve

Seen them twice now on fields about 10 mile apart

If we have a mild dry spring we usually have excrement summer so no need to panic yet... touch wood

Where I shot at the weekend they where out with the water cannon/sprinkler things and the ground was like rock pain in the but trying to get the magnet in and it’s not long back when the Ouse was over these fields

Hull 6 29g 1/4 and 1/2 they where heading to magnet about 20 yard out but then when they spooked headed towards me a few pillow cases but they ain’t eating crop anymore
