I can provide pictures if required but they are exactly as above in new condition. Sensible offers considered if someone wants both. Thanks
  4. This is my gun chaps. A serious set up in brilliant condition! Let me know if you have any questions.
  5. Gentleman, I have the following surplus to requirement and am thinking of selling it all as a package. I have a price in mind but would like a general consensus if at all possible. All said items are in excellent/mint condition. Sako 85 laminated / stainless with 20' Varmint fluted barrel. Meopta Meostar R1 3-12x56 Sako opti lock rings and mounts ASE ultra Jet-Z CQB moderator Less than 250 rounds through the rifle and the moderator. I hope this is in the correct section and within forum rules. Any guidance appreciated but as I say, I have a fair idea. Thanks in advance, Ben
  6. As per the title, my dad is looking for a moderated pump action 410 Mossberg with a synthetic stock. Before he goes to the local gunshop and buys a new one has anyone got a second hand one they don't use? Thanks
  7. I ended up getting one of these from Ogdens at the shooting show today guys .... http://www.ogdensshootingsupplies.co.uk/cambridge-range/ogden's-cambridge-gun-slip Initial impressions are very good indeed, especially for the price. An added bonus that he and his wife were nice people to boot. Will be keen to see how it holds up. If all is well I will get the matching cartridge bag also.
  8. Sorry guys, I put section one above, apologies, I meant section 2 to be held on a standard shotgun ticket. Standard 2 plus one configuration. Thanks
  9. Chaps, Absolute long shot I know but I'm looking for a Mossberg Maverick 88 pump action 12 bore with 24 inch barrel. Before I go and buy one new does anyone have one in the cabinet they don't use? Section two only please. Thanks
  10. Some great options, thanks chaps. Supersport, that slip looks terrific value for money? Do you have one by chance? I do like Croots but £170 will get me a canvas slip, not leather.
  11. Chaps, I want to pick up a smart shotgun slip for my new 30 inch O/U at the shooting show next weekend. I've spent out on rifle slips in the past but never really on shotgun slips. Now I've got a decent O/U for game days I want to get a well made slip to protect it. My £20 slip looked a little out of place on my 2 driven days this year! Any suggestions? Happy to spend around £150. Croots seemed number one? Thanks
  12. Blimey! I'll stick to my 5's I think. Each to their own of course!
  13. I was a bit disappointed with the first episode I must admit!
  14. Have been every year for the last 3. Some people moan about the price of entry and offset that against the price of the items sold at the show. For me and my old man, even if we buy nothing it's a great day out looking at some superb guns for less than a score. We tend to get there first thing so it's nice and quiet.
  15. My old man just got the same rifle in the same calibre and it's a serious piece of kit!!
  16. I have a 620 in black synthetic and it's a great piece of kit. I shoot it better than my Beretta semi auto!

    Which axe?

Another vote for the Fiskars X27. I too was hesitant before I purchased mine but it certainly lives up to the hype and the price tag. The head holds a great edge and it will easily split large logs. 100% recommended.
  18. Yep, I sold it on these forums also IIRC. A .223 Tikka T3 Hunter with a superbly figured wooden stock. It shot a ragged hole at 100 yards with Sako ammo.
  19. Store them with your RFD, that why if any false accusations are made then you have the backing of a legitimate business who can prove they were stored with them at the time of your split etc.
  20. Blimey, most of them in that store are incredibly rude! The checkout girls like to chat about their weekend in front of customers whilst you are being served. Nice to see the manager has some sense!
