About time, shame it is not happening in England. I have friends who have almost lost everything bescause of tb. These people shoud look at the well being of farmers who have work for generations on there farm and stand to lose it all before putting the well being of badgers / vermin beore us.

Hi does anyone know if there are any laws about where you release trapped foxes i own a small poulty farm 22acres with my parents where we also keep rare breed sheep and pigs. over the last 2 months twice i have seen a 2 groups of adult foxes one 3 and one 4 just sitting around one of our fields looking a bit confused each time 2 foxes were delt with by myself but it did not seem right as they did not run or seem to know what wa happening when speaking to one of my friends he suggested that maybe they were urban foxes that had been released there so i was just wondering if there was any regulations about this and if so i guess releasing them next to a poultry farm is not the best of ideas. cheers

Hi My boy comes shooting with me and he is four. Dont let him fire my rifles but he is good on the old lamp. I never asked him to come he asked me and i said yes he has been coming with me ever since. First time i took him i had a pigeon went to pick it up and he said careful daddy you will wake him up which put a smile on my face. He now knows the difference. I have a 2 year old girl and if / when she asks she can come to. If he keeps coming and enjoying it when hes about 8 will let him have his own air rifle and if the keeps it up when hes 14 will put in for a licence for him. Cheers

Hey guys, Just thought i would let you know about my first dog fox. Was out checking our ewes thursday night as we have started lambing early this year. Had my 17 hmr with me as i thought i would go to one of our far feilds and bag a few bunnies after. i shone my lamp across the ewes and out runs a big dog fox he ran down left side of feild and ducked into some trees at bottom of the feid. I went right got half way down about 75 yrds away from the tree line and scanned my lamp across there sat down beside a tree he was looking straght at me. One shot straight to the head he went down, good clean kill. Was well chuffed. will try get a photo on soon. Cheers for now.

Hi I use a sorroco sound mod on my 17 hmr looked at meny others but on the advice of my gunsmith tried this and was well impressed and is only £35 which was alot less than i was thinking of spending.

Hi I have a cz 453 varmint with the 2 stage trigger which is nice. It has a optimate 5 - 20 x 50 scope and serroco mod love it!!!!!

hi To my recollection acording to the dangerous dogs act of 1991 a person needs to be in control of there dogs at all times.

hi I shoot 17 hmr, on foxes i use it 70 yrd to the engine house up to 100 yrd to the head. Good luck with charlie Glynn
