Topgunners
We all went out on saturday morning and set up on some recently cut rape and the farmer was ploughing the first half of the field about 150 yards away behind us, and after setting up the boys with a decent pattern of deeks they proceeded to shoot consistently well and in a mad 1 and 1/2 hours shot 51 pigeons . The farmer had been watching them whilst ploughing and came over to myself & Alan to say it was the most IMPRESSIVE shooting he had seen from young boys in all his farming years. (Al was glowing with pride as his boys(and friend) are very, very good shots). "All down to the training" he told the farmer. To say they were CHUFFED is an understatement and it was a shame the farmer was almost on top of the hide that they had to pack up early or else they would probably have done their "1st TON". But nice to see young lads enjoying themselves. Topgunners Dave K these are the pictures as requested; reference Young topgunners in talk from the field posts.
