wallysmarksrn
this might sound a daft question, but for the fist time on one of my permissions, they have just drilled beans. having never shot over them,as its not a popular crop round here,i have afew questions. 1-drilled yesterday 2-how well do pigeons like them. 3-how long before you can shoot over them. 4-do pigeons feed on young plants, like they do with rape. thanks for all replies. Greenhunter
Yes, pigeons like them,or so I'm told! It could take a couple of days for them to find the field so keep an eye on it! They will eat the young shoots so with luck you will be busy GH

Tim.
Been out spraying today, pigeons seem to be coming down thick and fast on any late bit of drilling now. We drilled some red wheat a few days ago and thats looking promising.
