robmiller
Thinking of mounting these on a .17HMR. What would peoples thoughts be? Thanks
rimfire4969
I've got one of these on my hmr. I like it a lot and for the money very good, never let me down. If i broke the one i have got i would have no worries about replacing it with the same again. You can obviously get better but will have to pay a lot more money for a S & B etc.
robmiller
Whats sort of distances are you ok out to? I was thinking it may be slightly over powered!?
Blackbart
It wont be OVER powerfull rob as you can have it on 6x.On mine i find about 14x is ideal for the 17hmr range or 18x if you ae doing headshots.

robmiller
Seen a 6.5-20x50 i think may be a touch more condensed. Probably rather go new than the nikko stirling second hand Rob
al4x
what you really want is someone nearby with one you can have a go with, scopes are a nightmare to buy without being able to look at them.
