robmiller
Hi there both myself and a friend are looking for land to start a DIY syndicate. Preferably south Northumberland. This Side of Corbridge area. I know this is a long shot. My friend is experienced in setting up shoots and the running of such and both are willing to make financialy stable. If anyone has any ideas for areas where this may be an option, or a farm looking to make a touch extra cash. Any help appreciated. Alternatively, we are both looking for a small shoot possibly looking for members next year. Something friendly and good fun. Current shoot isnt great. cap1len
hi some of the guys on my shoot looked into the same thing a couple of years ago and found there was no land not being shot on from the tyne to the borders. your best chance would be if any shoots were closing down and the farmer was looking for a new syndicate to take over, but remember good shoots dont shut down. if my shoot is looking for new guns next year i will let you know. also if you do get to setup your own shoot it is probably going to take a couple of years to get it to how you want it. as i am sure most would agree it is the members of a syndicate who make the difference between a good and bad shoot. good luck
robmiller
Hear and echo your comments! Completely agree. But someone may have knowledge of one shutting down. Would be great to hear of your shoot if there are any empty guns Rob
Blackbart
There is some near me,but it would not be very cheap between 2 guns. The farmer bumped the price up so the last syndicut told him to stick it. Ask Dannkid,i think he knows the farmer in question.

Lambpie
Rob, there's an add on Guns on Pegs for some walked up shooting in Kielder for £100 per gun for the day. I know little else about it but might be worth a look. Chris
