Hi all looks like my pigeon shooting days are now over for the foreseeable future anyway due to work commitments. so i have a lot of gear to get out of the garage. pigeon magnet complete with battery £40 SOLD pigeon bouncers x2 never used £10 SOLD pigeon shooter hide poles x4 £20 SOLD army camo net 6ftx6ft tatty but servicable £5 jack pyke ghost net 1.5mx4m £15 SOLD 12 x plastic shell decoys with sticks £12 SOLD 6 x flocked shell decoys with sticks £12 6 x fud decoys £15 SOLD spinner seat bucket £20 2 man pop up hide £60 all of this gear is used and does show signs of wear as you would expect but is all very servicable. i can post and would do this at cost but would have to get a price from post office. thanks Len

if anyone is interested in beating and picking up in northumberland amble area please pm me. it is over relatively flat ground and experienced and beginners will be made equally welcome. all of the guns have been told that the beaters need to be looked after. they are vital to any shoot being successful

my daughter has passed her A levels and will be off to oxford uni in october to read history. i currently feel about 10 feet tall. she is absoloutely brilliant i guess she gets the brains from her mother i was always to lazy at school.

i thought it was self explanatary the army had found a way of measuring how dozy the troops are or not as the case may be

hi listening to radio newcastle this morning they were talking to the MP for Birtley and asked him about guns he said that the law would have to be looked at to reduce the number of guns out on the street. although he did concede that as their were a lot of farms around the area guns are a neccessary part of farming. he seems to have failed to grasp that the idiot who has just been released from jail did not legally obtain the shotgun he is using. The MP in my opinion has no idea about shooting at all but is trying to say what he thinks the people want to hear.

my 9 month springer dog has been progressing really well up until the last couple of weeks when he now seems to have developed selective hearing. he sometimes just simply ignores me completely when he is off the lead. i know he is just following his natural instincts but the question is do i let him carry on and wait until he grows out of it. if not what should i be doing.

Just a few lines to close the thread all places have now being taken even after 3 guys changed their mind after reading this thread. to all the PW members who did join i am looking forward to all of us having a good season. i was up their yesterday doing a bit more work and then late yesterday got my first pigeon a good day all round. after being in a syndicate last year which turned out not to be able to deliver it's potential the more time i spend at the new shoot the better the feeling i have about it being a success. thanks len

the first thing is is an automatic or is it quartz. if it is quartz definetly a copy. secondly check out the repgeeek forum someone there will most certainly be able to tell you how to check it. i had a copy quartz navitimer as my daily wearer and it was really accurate it took some serious abuse which had it cost £4000.00 i would have been really upset about. i keep the real deal for weekend wear when it wont run the risk of serious damage.
