Ean76
Just taken the little darlings to school. Had the urge for some fresh rolls today so stopped off on the way home and grabbed some fresh - and still warm - rolls. Got back, made me some pate rolls - thin layer of real butter then a thick spread of pate over. WOW! Nice cuppa coffee to go with them This wife being away on holiday with her Mum thing has it's moments (no having to watch soaps and then the next and then the next etc etc) ATB folks....... Iaindp
If you like a bit of black (pudding) try this! You'll need 1 Pheasant breast Black pudding String red onion brown sugar tsp honey 1/4 glass of port / sloe gin. Cook black pudding in the oven until it's crumbly (abut 10 mins on 180c). Whilst it's cooking, use a rolling pin to flatten the phessie breast. Wrap phessie breast around crumbled black pudding and cook for 20-25 mins. Meanwhile, slice and fry red onion til translucent, add 1-2 tsp brown sugar and 1-2 tsp honey. Cook on high heat to reduce. Add port / sloe gin and rduce again (it's now called red onion marmalade)! Remove phessie roll, pour red onion marmalade over and enjoy. Phessie and black in red onion marmalade - Done!
