fo5ter
Hi I just passed my DSC1 at Castle Donnington after taking the 3 day course with David Stretton :( I was fed better all this week there than I ever get at home! After playing with the estate rifle (sako 85 6.5x55) Im thinking of getting a T3 in 6.5x55. (as i cant afford a sako) For the sake of the Variation, what is a good amount of ammo to put on the form to own and buy for stalking? Gareth W
From reading another forum it all seems to vary on your Police Force, might be worth calling your FLO and seeing what he/she thinks reasonable. Im covered by Strathclyde and have buy 40 hold 60 which seems pretty low compared to rest of the UK's forces. Congratulations and nice choice of rifle. steve_b_wales
100 to purchase, 200 to keep. You can always increase the amounts at a later date, which is free. Edited December 10, 2009 by steve_b_wales
Shootingman
I have buy 100, hold 150. :(
Dunkield
Well done I have buy 200 hold 300, but to be honest I wouldn't have the space to stick 300 rounds, or the spare cash to buy them :( You only need big numbers if you are going to get into reloading. Billy.
Whatever you do, make sure they're multiples of 20. Otherwise you may encounter a problem if you're trying to buy a maximum of say 50 rounds, as not many are sold in 10s these days. Congratulations :(
Skippy
I have buy 400 hold 750, not that i could ever afford to! Thats on both 6.5x55 and 308 too :(
