Salop Matt
I have some new land (10 acres of feilds) and ins on boggy ground so likely to foggy again tonight last nights pea soup ! My lamping partner is in 2 minds about going out if its foggy due to a concern of flare back from the lamp in the fog ! Myself i was hoping it would be a cloaking blanket and muffel our noise and stop buggs further along seeing us coming and give a better chance of sucess ! What you guys think and what have been your experiences ?
docholiday
If its thick then just the same as driving in the fog, cant see a blo+dy thing

Frenchieboy
Waste of time lamping in thick fog due to lamp flare, plus a safety issue with reduced visibility if there is livestock about! Stay home, put your feet up, open a can or two and save your energy for another night!
Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Also safety becomes even more of a factor because if you cant see then who do know 100% the shot is safe. Regards
Lez325
safety is paramount when shooting- so in thick fog your visibility beyond any target will be impaired to say the least and therefore: Unsafe stay home and read PW threads at least you'll not shoot anything you aint supposed to Les
