zipdog
hi, i was looking on a rape field today for some pigeons. However no pigeons but about 200 crow or rooks, does anyone know what they would be, ie likely to be. Also would a rook come to a crow call. thanks. wymberley
Hi, A crow in a crowd is a rook and a rook on its own is a crow. Also, yep. cheers

ollie
You won't need a crow call. Put out a few crow deeks and keep adding to them as you shoot them. I don't use any set layout or pattern, just make sure obviously that the crow deeks are facing into the wind. Good luck, this can be as good as decoying pigeons. Crouch valley
i would say that rook shooting is far better than pigeon shooting there eye sight is second to none make sure you are well out of sight you will probably have to have a roof on the hide. a friend and i shot 388 in two days this year over cut lucern. ollie
I'm the same we have had a few 'red letter days' on the rooks over the past few years. We never put a roof on our hide but we always stay well camoflaged in the hide.
