Boristhedog
I could set up something like this, but like most syndicates /groups or clubs theres always a few who are there on a regular basis to help out ( work parties/building pens ride cutting ) then a good percentage take the **** do very little BUT ALWAYS TURN UP ON SHOOT DAYS This ****** me right off, the shoot i'm in at the moment is like this and theres a certain few who always do the graft and the others take the ****. And if the others would do their share, well our shoot would be twice as good. Its not easy if you want results and not cheap. But with like minded guns its a good crack **** take There seems to be a few interested people in and around south Wales wanting to take this idea forward. Would it be worth getting together to discuss the real issues involved - and that would need 'pestbry' as he seems to be the only one with the knowledge, the rest of us seem to be willing but lacking the ability to lead! Either a pub one evening, a clay shoot followed by a pub, or, if all else fails, pm's, e mails or texts. I'm happy to take a lead in getting this initial stage sorted if that helps. Q West
Hi all, based in Bristol (work in Ystrad Mynach) and also keen to join in. Got to agree with Boristhedog, finding land probably going to be biggest hurdle. I don't know much about starting this up, but more than happy to get stuck in. Boristhedog
Count me in. I did begin to make arrangements but been a bit busy. New thread in order? Edd There's a dozen or so interested people from south Wales and nearby. I guess a meet for a chat towards the middle of Gwent would be sort of central...how about a pub near the main road (A4042), The Horse and Jockey, Llanvihange, Pontypool, NP4 0JB. Just a suggestion for starters. One evening towards the end of the month? Comments?
