stubby
have used the zippo type many years ago, very warm, but a flame in your pocket also had the charcoal type, again, very good, but lighting both ends to make it hotter, means it runs out quicker was recently recomended the BOSTON uses lighter fluid, but no naked flame, has a glo-plug type fitment, electronic ignition and keeps well hot, a full fill will last around 30 hours, gets my thumbs up :yp:
kdubya
I have a fair collection of handwarmers from peacocks to peacock copies!!! and then Zippo's the best of the lot, just about 24hours from one fill out of these :yp: guy on another site called jackal does a good service on zippos when he gets them in KW
Cosd
I second the S-Boston. Just got mine as a Xmas pressie from the kids and it's great. Advantages this has over others I've seen is that it self ignites so you don't need another lighter to light it, and you can switch it off which I don't think any of the others do (I may be corrected on that one). Used it a couple of times and works a treat. Top marks from me
Supersonic
The charcoal type ones are on offer at 'Go Outdoors' for £2 and a dozen sticks will set you back a further £1. BARGAIN!!! Nige
