Have been but not now, however I also have them to thank for not one but 2 periods on the dole in the last 8 years - I stand by my previous comments - to say more would have the Mods on my case, and I like it here. Imperfection
The thing which narks me is how can someone who was never voted in be running the country? Surely this cannot be legal? When Blair stood down there should have been a general election.

A European foreign minister that was never elected!! a business secretary that was never elected, a prime minister who was never elected, an immigration policy that was never put to the inhabitants of this country, a large proportion of the cabinet coming from another country that has its own parliament! so since when did democracy ever come into politics. When Blair stood down there should have been a general election. Yes but if he had had the brains to call the general election he would have lost this is for sure and the conservatives would have won :yp: but this would have been just in time for the economy to collapse and we all know this would be in no way the tory's fault but would have been pinned on them at the next general election no doubt just the same way blair and brown claimed all the glory of thatcher's economic policy. Labour have gotten us into this mess and there is no way in hell they will be getting us out. I have shot with the prospective conservative mp for my constituency (always a good thing) and he will be having my vote as long as the election is after the 18th of May (my 18th birthday) George

RC45
The trouble is, Gordon was left with a mess after TB ran off to europe. Once he's sorted the world economy, we will be ok. Anyways who would want to be ruled by an Eton toffee nose Royal bumwipe It beggars belief that a working class guy would vote for him! I think some people would vote for DC, because they think he will share his wealth? There is one word for people like that. My birthday is mid-march and I will be putting an X in the blue box. I went to the conservative >35 xmas party and had a great time, met some very nice people, some of them young cllrs and most of them shooters. My local MP(Nick Hurd) also came to talk to my politics class with nothing but an email invite from myself, he ending up spending half the day with us talking policies which was brilliant, far better than double physics

KW Right my views are obviously going to have been influenced by my parents but teachers? no my politics teach votes lib dem and economics teacher hated thatcher and i would say i am not spoon fed as most of my friends couldn't give a toss about politics as is the case for most young people. Now onto UKIP i did look into them but their 5 year stop on immigration was a tad to strong for me as having a farm we do rely on easter European workers to do jobs brits often simply wont. But what i will say for UKIP is now killroy is gone the new leader does speak out against Brown in a way Cameron never would simple as but as a fringe party the can afford to. And as for the prospective mp i have shot with to be honest i dont think huge things of him but have met him twice as my dad is in a syndicate with him but i simply feel a conservative government would be better than the heap the england is becoming.
