Bought a new Quad in autumn last year, love it and have had NO extraction problems in .22LR so maybe the problem has been resolved in the manufacturing?

I put a fixed mag 6 x 42 scope on mine and that does for both .22 and .17, although I am borrowing a .17 barrel at the moment since GMK haven't had any since September last year :good:

Haven't shot an Anschutz and I prefer the quad to any CZ, but that's my choice. If you go for a Quad you won't be disappointed.

If you mount the scope as far forward with the mounts as possible so the forward mount touches the end of the dovetail on the action, you can remove the scope in its mounts to change the barrel and then replace the scope perfectly back where it was before without the need for quick release.

in theory this should not lose your zero and the microscopic difference in mount placement wont be enough to change ur zero since the ammo is inherantly less accurate
