sako751sg
Nice to see individual acts of kindness in times like these. The antis wouldnt advertise the fact that us country sportsmen do more for the wildlife when its needed than anyone else. PaulABF
Greengrass - are you a professional photographer? Your pics, these and others, are fantastic. What camera are you using?

GREENGRASS
Paul ABF Camera used is Canon 400D. Not a professional just a hobby. It’s my get out from a stressful job. The lens is what counts. However the lens used to take the White Swan pictures is actually designated close up Macro Lens which I picked up in the Christmas Sales. I normally make use of a Canon 100 x 400mm L Lens. Hope that helps Paul. Regards GG.
Axe
Double posts deleted That's certainly not your average everyday sight. That poor bird looks damn right miserable about the snow. Did the new lens perform well? Not that i'm experienced in such things.

Been looking to upgrade from my point and shoot didital camera for a while now. Might have found the one. Cheers.
windrush
More than helps mate. I was wary of digital SLRs but you're producing some beautiful, sharp and deatailed shots. Been looking to upgrade from my point and shoot didital camera for a while now. Might have found the one. Cheers. Helps me too, I always like to see the lens, aperture and exposure attached to pictures. Used to do a lot with an Olympus OM2n and all the gear where the film stock was of interest as well, but never made the transition to digital except in a very basic way. The whirr and clicks of the OM motordrive which were once thought quite sexy are now, frankly, vaguely embarrassing. Must move on. I hear they focus themselves now, too? Shame the shotgun doesn't.
