eric parker
Hi, hopefully you can help! I am going to apply for my SGC and FAC at the same time, and wondered if there was a reduction in the cost (i could only find reduction if renewing SGC at same time as FAC). And also can a referee be used twice (i.e shotgun referee used as one of the FA referees?). Hopefully you can help? Thanks alot! p.s. i'm in Surrey
Rizzini
HI mate, when you apply for a SGC and a FAC at the same time its called a Coterminous Certificate and this cost's £60. IM pretty sure you can use the same referee for the SGC and the FAC matey, so you should be fine on that one, hope this helps buddy

Colster
Did my first application as coterminous (£60) so yes you can go that route for your first application, although all the "guidance" notes refer to renewals. I used a mate of mine as a referee for my FAC and countersignatory for my SGC with no problems, in fact the FLD never contacted him about either. It depends I think on your area but mine certainly weren't fussed about the countersignatory being a Doctor, Lawyer etc - my mate is a Glazing Manager and my application went through with no problems.
