Marcus
I know there are wild Boar in the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. Some areas are a no-go for camping etc. There are a few members on here in that area, maybe they will pop along and give you some info

Heladoxa
I've got a farmer friend in Wales who's got a big old pig that gets pretty wild if you throw acorns at it. Any good?

Dirty Harry
Lots of boar in the forest. My mate has had a few. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/glouces...ire/8439997.stm You just need to find a friendly farmer in the area. njc110381
Well I know it's fair to think of the other half but if she wanted to go away with her mates for a week you wouldn't have a problem with it would you? If you would then fair enough it's unfair for you to go, but otherwise why not? I went to Canada for a month without my other half. She was ok with it. Then she went to Kenya without me, no problem there either. There's no point holding back on life, you've got to do what you want to within reason. I know a few people who go abroad shooting and leave the other half at home. They could come too if they were interested but they're not so they stay home! Go for it, you'll have a lot of fun! decoyboy
new forest ? i have a good friend that runs a shooting business down that way . i do believe you need to specify bore on your fac before you can shoot them . i have seen them around my part of the world but i tend to keep my distance , them and the big cats . CZ550Kevlar
Finding Boar is hard due to the fact people keep their locations a close guarded secret after they have found the things. a handy tip is don`t use a .303 it just annoys them. Kent has pretty much none you have to go further into the west of england and the centre of england seem to be rife with the things.
