ollie
what you putting in for ollie 17HMR and maybe .223. Dunno about the centrefire as yet; I want a combo gun for fox and rabbits and I think the HMR is prob the best option. How you getting on with the flight pond? We shot ours for the 1st time tonight, shot 6 Mallard, we could have shot dozens but left early to keep them for another night.
DaveK
Just got in from work tonight and my FAC was on the door matt. sent of 22/05/10 and issued by Lisnasharragh 21/09/10, 4 months in total and thats one of the quicker ones!! Absolute ridiculious time to wait on a permit. Issued a month ago and received on Thursday? Where's it been?

shot shot
ok, just got the inside scoop from Lisnaharragh. Apparently they're understaffed, and have been for some time now. My application, 4/5 months minimum. They're still sorting out stuff that's been backlogged since february I guess this is a case of "fire and forget" Well guys, fac arrived yesterday, almost exactly a 6 month wait. It's fair to say that the bottle neck is in lisnasharragh, as I only got the interview a week ago yesterday!! unfortunately I'm stuck in england till mid december, so I won't be seeing anything for quite a while Still, good to have it through
