I know,

But how many times have you been on here slagging off the "Biffa" shoots? How many times have you taken the **** out of "Score it yourself" Haybales? or "JJ's style Floppers" or even been as low as to say about "Duffing up the boy scouts at the village fete"?

Hold on........., you forgot about beating the Grannies with their 16 bore S/S hammer guns at the local Womens Institute fundraiser...??

It beggars belief that even "Essex Man" could stoop so low, have you no shame..??

We need to up the image of the sport to encourage greater participation.

As a nation we are traditionally low achievers in most sports, (as you so clearly demonstrate every weekend :good: ), those that do actually achieve something in the sport need to be revered and respected, and not criticised with dodgy "Mung style" simplistic mathematics like "I'd have beaten you if only I'd have hit another 20 targets"

I'm really looking forward to Hodnet now, might even buy a tee shirt.

No I didn't,

I was on holiday that day so didn't make it, I understand it was won by someone from Hertfordshire with a new Renato Gamba. They did say they felt sorry for him as he looked so old. They were talking about taking him round a casserole.

You're not talking about yourself there are you? Don't forget respect is earnt, and that's not done by putting in middle range scores then slagging everyone who doesn't shoot at the same venues as you. :hmm: So lets start there. Just a thought.

It seems we are in awe and do indeed revere and respect the likes of HappyChappy who at under 16 put in an amazing score without looking down his nose at the lesser skilled shooter (so in that case would be you as well as the rest of us!).

I'll let you be the judge of that one, but let's all hope this young man has a bright future in the sport, hopefully as a CPSA member he'll be shooting all of the Major events this year and gaining valuable experience.
