njc110381
No more than any other 4x4 really. I drive a 300tdi 110 and it's no better or worse than my L200. Don't buy an L200 is my advice. Apart from the first I had (which gave me a kind of false confidence in them) they've been nothing but trouble for me! At least when a Defender breaks it's simple to fix. A Mog would be my choice if I had the money. They're amazing. Not sure how many gallons to the mile they do though? And they cost a fortune to buy! ProteuS
njc, Mogs are indeed awesome. I intend to get one to do a little bit of forrestry work on some property. It used to be the case that you could pick up an old petrol one for just a couple of thousand. Now unfortunately the land rover boys and rock crawling scene in America has gone mad for them, often buying vehicles for just the axles. It's a shame as a lot of great mogs have been scrapped.
