  7. fair enough as far as landrovers go they are **** off-road, well the first models where anyway..BUT..in january some daft woman who decided to take her life into her own hands, pulled out of a junction in front of my defender n took a big hit, anyway mine needed repair and the courtesy car, because i insisted on a 4x4 was, guess what, a brand new freelander 2 59reg with about 400miles on it..i didnt take it off road of fear of scratching this imaculate machine, but it was an absolute pleasure to drive, looked the part, bang tidy inside, the electric seats are pretty cool and to be fair didnt wanna give it back..for a daily drive i would happily buy one of these.. :(
  8. thumbs up for LR4x4 lots of knowledgable guys on that one with good tech section. well for defenders/discos anyway to be fair tho as freelander 2 are relativly new cant see there being much info on them, they wont have the same following as defenders/discos i would have a trawl through as a guest on the various sites before you join to see which seems to have the biggest group for your model. ben

    what scope

nikko sterling do some great scopes for good prices, they have never let me down, worth a butchers before you make your mind up anyway
  13. next on my list is the s200, for the price you cant go wrong, at the end of the day if your gonna be out in the field on the floor in the rain etc, id go for the cheaper option, especially as there as accurate as each other. and come it dont look that bad..the mk1 was a bit ugly admittedly though, bit to square for me
  14. bloody hell the club i was lookin at was more like £300 annual membership..if i could find one for the prices you guys are saying i would definatley be more interested in going..so did the membership include use of club guns i take it?
  15. ther is a knack to it indeed, and its easy to cock it up..but for what you need it for id jus go with the cheap stuff and d.i.y, if it turns out ****, rip of off and try again or get the pros on it. worth a try though
  16. if by any chance no one above takes em, can i have them please, thanks. ben
  17. definatley....the thing is with all this, you would have though they'd have improved the abilities for the X6 hahaha pathetic!!! and for the records my defender has done 93mph (no, not down hill lol) and averages around 26/7 mpg and when i get round to it, getting it remapped it will do around the 115/120 mark
  18. non-believers are best sticking to 'fake' 4x4s anyway lol only jokin, they are crackin vehicles mate
  19. thanks james..seems like a good route to go down if people dont have a permission with vermin control issues..i have heard though that it can be quite an expensive affair to join a rifle club and that you must attend so many times before FAC will be signed for by the club. the cost is the main hing stopping me from doing it
