As per title, i think it may be made by JLS, it is proofed for Hornet up to 308 win

has had very little use but there are some marks where someone has taken it apart,

it is fully strippable, weighs only 400 grms and is 11 inches long with 1/2" unf thread, it is not the over barrel type

looking for £60

You say it's had some use? I take it that it's been used on a c/f before then?

I ask this because a sound mod that has been put on an FAC rifle instantly makes the sound mod a section 1 item and cannot be sold off ticket. Unless you've managed to pull some strings with your licensing department, I'd say you were selling a section 1 item without the proper paperwork.

Say what you like to me, but I am merely being vigilant to protect my sport.

Without having my FAC to hand I am sure that the person selling it has to have authority to posess and as such this cannot be off ticket attached to an air rifle or not.

The easiest way to transfer it will be to hand it in to an RFD and let them do the paperwork.

Quite why anyone would put a C/F moderator pn an air rifle is beyond me.

It can be bought as an air rifle ticket and then if you want (if your have spare slot) can be put onto your ticket to use on a rifle - just inform your FAO that you have now got a Sound mod - This is the way people who make sound mods ( Engineers and people who use lathes, etc in their garden sheds) do it all the time.

why cant it be off ticket ? if its not on a firearms ticket then it isnt a firearm. if it was on ticket as jls mod then by law you have to sell or hand into rfd before you can get a replacement. then you have to put in for variation. so its off your ticket before new one can be added.m i no in west mercia you can swap for a new mod as long as rfd takes your old one. and the police are ok with that.

its silly i think you can keep a air rifle mod out side your cabinet. but soon as you have it on ticket it has to be locked up with rifles. what is the difference in it ?
