BlaserF3
Any synthetic engine oil will do, put it in your Beretta bottle when it's empty. I would keep WD40 away from the woodwork too.

sitsinhedges
I just use spray on 3in1 now. Gun oil seems like a rip off to me when surely all we need is a light machine oil

Billy.
I'm guessing if it's realtree, it's a synthetic stock... Therefore oil will not affect it. WD40 all the way.

Realtree is a coating applied to the stock which some solvents including WD40 will eventually lift, been there, seen it, done it, have you? It's some good stuff. I use it on my 303 rifle. It's called Q20. It's well good for lubrication.
BlaserF3
Just be careful that you do not get any cleaning fluids on the wood either the butt or the forend as the coating will lift off. To clean the woodwork just use warm soapy water. The oil supplied will last for ages as you only need a drop or two on parts that move or touch in the receiver, keep parts that come into contact with the gas system dry. SSS
I spray wd40 on a rag and then rub it onto the metal work. Avoid getting it on the wood around where it joins the metal, it has a nasty habit of rotting it
BlaserF3
I use Napier too, but I keep it away from the woodwork on my Urika2. Edited February 8, 2010 by BlaserF3
