olivhar01
i went out lamping the other night and my nikko sterling gold crown got a bit wet, ever since then the front lens has some moisture on the inside. does anyone know of the best way to clear it? atb cal
George1990
Look on the packet and see if it says fog-proof or nitrogen filled. If it does, then there shouldn't be moisture getting in and might be worth taking back to shop for replacement if under warranty. Dunno how otherwise unless yo uleave it somewhere nice n warm
Dekers
Always difficult this as the internals should be sealed, if this is damp or condensation then there is a suggestion it is no longer sealed and likely to happen again. Keep it at room temperature and it should go, do NOT apply direct heat. OR Put is a sealed bag with silica gel, that will absord the moisture!! Be prepared for it to happen again though!! Mr_Logic
If it's got moisture inside, it's faulty...
ozzy518
I had the same on one of my scopes mate strangely enough also a nikko stirling nighteater....took it back to RFD as it was less than a year old he exchanged it no problem. I tried to dry it out but it soon comes back again...The scopes are advertised as waterproof, obviously its not so its faulty.

Quickshot
Try Returning for an exchange at the Dealer.... There's no point buying a new one if you might be able to get the refund. Its also possible, they may be able to send it back to maker for repair? QS
Dave-G
I've heard it's possible to DIY nitrogen purge in a bag with some drinks fizz wassisits. Also the eyebell comes off some scopes quite easily. If you are thinking of ditching it I'd say it's worth a try mate.
