Most of the bigger clay grounds charge about £24-£25 for 100 clays round here.

50 clays are just half the 100 price usually.

Don't know of any new grounds in the area. You've got Sealand and Llandegla in North Wales, and Catton Hall, Blackpool and Worsley in Cheshire and Lancs.

There will be small farm shoots nearer than that, but I'm not sure where :good:

there is one just across the water in flint but not sure when they are on, mr potter will tell you though :good:

Hi Brian28

Unfortunately you have missed the best of the North Cheshire clay shoots they have all gone for one reason or another. Some of them them used to throw some decent targets, some just somewere to go  but too late, they've all disappeared.

The shoot beretta is on about is at a place called Oakenholt near Flint (CH6 5ST), it's called Leadbrook Hall and is on every 2nd Sunday of the month (plus the 5th Sundays when they occur). It's a hundred birder and is fibre wad only, a CPSA ground but the shoot is NOT registered, the markers are young army or air cadets, I assume you can enter birds only but I only ever enter the comp and I think the entry fee is about £24. They normally have 12 stands and the targets are a mix of relatively gentle to quite testing - all in all it's a good example of the "advanced straw bale shoot" :good:

If you want more info give John ? a ring on 07929 008182 (owner) and he'll give you the full SP.

That's about it, Chard has mentioned the others (Llandegla and Seeland or North Wales Shooting School) there is another little straw baler near 2 Mills but I don't know anything about it at all - anyone know off it ?
