Puddytat
Why does my pup eat coal? Something to chew or is there something in it he needs in his diet?
Lurch
Because he's a pup and therefore stupid. Dunno, maybe he just likes it. My dog eats horse poop, only if it's fresh mind.

MC
My springer pup used to go to the place in the garden where I used to empty the barbecue and eat the remains of the charcoal. I now have a gas BBQ and he has trouble chewing the gas bottle. Cheers MC
