groach1234
this claims culture makes me sick that soliciter was not happy with £1,500 for a scar like that on the face? i would let you cut my face witha scar like that for £1,500 it was nearly invisible and in the end he got was it £5000 or £6000 George
Marcus
lots of people trying it on these days. If someone has been genuinly affected by an accident, then I suppose its fair. Trying it on just to get a payout isnt.

Ozzy Fudd
its nothing new, i have to deal with this sort of thing on a daily basis. the one that sticks in my mind is two people who managed to claim £14,000 for personal injury and stress after a car accident. sounds like a bad accident doesnt it? nope, they were parked in a car park and someone reversing out of a parking space accidentally nudged them the words of the claims assessor always stick in my mind - "damage? the dirt on the ******* bumper wasnt even smudged!!" still, all they needed was a doctor to say they had whiplash and it couldnt be disputed Edited February 26, 2010 by Ozzy Fudd
MPT1
I got £28000 for being hit round the head with a hammer in 1998. This was when I had apprehended a street robber. I overpowered him after receiving injuries that needed thirty odd stitches. In addition I got a judges commendation and £500 from the Lord Mayor of London.
