shocking problem with car.

That is the biggest cop out ever written. The peugeot dealers may not make the cars however they are the frontline if you want to buy one, they are also quite happy to take the profit from selling one and also the cost of servicing which they haven't done correctly. Why should you have to keep phoning a customer service department who are not interested in your complaint and jsut pay you lip service.

I was in a Ford Dealers at the weekend and there was a couple in there who had a complaint with a 3 week old Ford and it had been in for repair for 2 of those weeks. They were getting absolutely nowhere. What really ****** me off is the whole attitude of the motor trade that seems to be that it is never their fault and it is always something to do with the age, mileage, colour, of your car.

It stinks and they should sort it out.

Calm down dear !

He didnt say anything about Peugeot dealers not liking the "jiffy bag treatment".

I vote that MM sticks up their name and address, our new puppy is churning out the truffles like a sausage machine at the moment. It would be good to put them to good use <_<

I had problems with my peugeot dealer a few years ago, the final straw was it kept overheating when towing or driving over 70mph, his responce? "well the speed limit is 70 sir" I dragged him agross the counter and forced his hand onto the radiator, the top was hot the bottom was ice cold, the two month old radiator was blocked up.

after that whenever I took it in for a service or to repair something else they had cocked up, I got 5 star service.

I had a company renault a few years back, brake pads were down to the metal and I specifically asked for new pads & discs as part of a main dealer service. When I picked it up the service sheet said I had 10mm left on the pads - clearly they hadn't listened to me or even checked properly. I took it back and was told they had replaced the discs but not the pads (!)and the scraping noise was the discs bedding in! I made them look at it again and they put new pads in. I took it home and took the wheel off - new pads actually on this time but no new discs! I took it back...again...they told me I was mistaken..I showed then the photos...they took it back in the workshop...FOUR HOURS later the new discs were on. No apology at all at any stage.

Whenever possible - get your vehicles serviced and repaired at independent specialists, where they live or die by their reputation and customer service actually means something. And they charge half the price as well.

here's my idea to get martin's car fixed

we all arrive at the dealership at a preset time making out to be customers all after new cars then martin walks in and kicks off we all refuse to put our new purchase on hold untill they agree to fix martins car

we take martins phone number and let the salesman know that we will call martin and when fis car is fixed then we will be back to complete the sale

lets see who can get the nearest to finalizing there new car before pulling out :good:
