Are semi-auto's still widely NOT accepted at your local pheasant shoot??

And we wonder why our sport sticks in the craw of the generaql public!

Tradition should not be a reason for someone using or not using a semi auto. Not everybody wears a tweed suit do they? Or breeks? Or shoots side by side? And they are all tradition.

And what is unsafe about a semi auto and not unsafe about a side by side or over and under? Nothing!, a gun is safe only because of the handler and that's it, using tradition to exclude someone because he or she is using a different style of gun is nothing more than snobbery. It was once a tradition for the lord of the manor to have sex with any newly wed wife before the husband, perhaps you would like to bring that one back? :yes: I shot a semi on my local shoot and so did some others, I had one complaint and I told him where he could eject his spent cases.
