mayfly36
Larmour had the pigeon and duck, but he was looking £35 for 6, he was a tenner over the price i believe. There ahve been a few posts about fuds, most say as far as the pigeon fuds are concerned, that they tended to come into the FUD than the full body, when both were placed in the same field. Im sure someone would have more info. How much was he asking for them.
David BASC
They have worked well when we tested them, the fact you can adjust the head position is useful - remember that a 'heads up' position is the alarm position for most birds- ie the 'lookouts' have spotted somthing they are not too sure about. The fact you can have a few with 'heads up' and the rest head down 'feeding' is very useful. The duck decoys don't work that well in a very fast tidal flow but are great on low flows, ponds and flashes. ############## in England are bringing them in from the USA see here for kit and prices: http://www.##############/?page=show-category&cat=19 David

I might be a bit picky but, an elongated neck is a danger sign and a neck pulled well in is a settled posture but a normal heads up position is a natural thing for most birds. Cranfield
When these first came out I contacted some friends in the US for their opinion and its wasn't good. Apparently, the foam shape distorts quite quickly and they become difficult to assemble, they are only viable on still water, they are difficult to clean, don't use them in anything above a breeze (or they will blow away) and there were a few other comments. I didn't get any and these are all secondhand ( but from experienced shooters) comments.
davie mac
Thanks for your views lads, the ducks would only be used on lough neagh, and I'm thinking of changing all my decoys,I'm just fed up carrying big bags of decoys.

Redditch
Opinions seem to be mixed on them, so I bought 3 lots of 6, and will get some more standard blown moulded body ones too. Then I will mix them, and see how they perform. I have a small inlet on the Foyle that doesn't flow too fast ( We wade through it to the shooting area and back), so maybe they will be okay there. If not, then it will be the standard decoys in the water, nd the FUDs on the bank, so nothing lost either way. I'll keep you posted after the season begins

Bluebarrels
I bought 12x pigeons and 12x crows used them a couple of times and sold them on i prefer full body decoys or shot birds BB Another thing i disliked about Fuds was the faffing setting them out
Redditch
Got the crow ones, and my mate has the crow and the pigeon. I just use them as extras to fill the pattern out, along with full bodied, floaters, lofted, and flyers on a whirly. They work well I must admit, especially on the jackdaws and greys, although not so good on the cartons, the full bodied seem to work better on those. I find them easy to set up, and they take up a lot less room, and don't get damaged as easy either
