What chokes

hi there,

New to the game and need a little advice. Going pigeon decoying next week, (on paid land) and need advice on what chokes to use on my o/u. Heard a guy mention that he uses 1/2 choke in his semi. What is 1/2 choke equivelant to i.e improved cylinder, modified etc.

At the range you shoot (most) pigeons when decoying open chokes will do the biz and if you're anything other than a top shot you'll have just a little more chance of hitting them B)

 

There's a lot of b******* discussed about chokes and for most people shooting at standard ranges it don't matter a damn!

Makes you wonder whether any of theses choke experts have ever patterned their guns
