I noticed Screwfix doing an AEG Li-Ion 12v for £99.00 with some extras bunged in.

I bought a twinpack Makita 18v cordless set last year - a drill driver and a hammer drill with charger in a case - for £80 in B & Q - and am perfectly happy with those, but if I was in the market again I would take a long hard look at that AEG.

My old 12v no hammer action AEG lasted 8 years and with the right drill bits (Joran) would drill bricks and the like with ease.
