libs
As far as I understand, the pins are destroyed or removed, and the tubes have a gap cut through at the chamber end. I am sure someone with a deactivated gun can tell us.
Andy H
Remove firing pins , using a 20mm drill drill into the breech face using the firing pin holes as a centre but only as far as the taper on the nose of the drill to create a cone on each firing pin hole, remove the extractors and cut a 8mm wide slot in each barrel from the breech to were the forend finishes ie:so all of the slots are under the woodwork ,Then insert a slug of steel in to each chamber and weld into place through the 8mm slot , take to the proof house. Floating Chamber
What has been taken away can always be replaced. (e.g. false teeth.) And that's when the law is broken!
