shotgun sam
I have the chance to shoot rabbits on a 7 acre small holding which has a banking at the far end the adjoining areas are farms. My brother in law wants to take up shooting and I could get himon this land is 7 acre enough to get a 22lr licence

al4x
depends entirely on the land, but it is possible if you have backstops and not too many hazards round it
Harnser
I have shot rabbits and rats on much smaller parcels of land than that with a .22 rimfire . But I do have an open ticket . Harnser .

It will need to be checked and inspected and if the FEO says yes you are in business. An Open FAC holder makes his own call on calibres/land/shot, a new FAC holder is not normally granted that level of decision making. Ask and see, in principle most FEO will laugh, but they should check the site before leaping to conclusions!
garyb
I had 3 acres passed for .223Rem before I had an open FAC
