starlight32
I was wondering what the mpg return is on these cars? I am seeing more and more of them being bought by the shooting fraternity. Also how have the 4x4 owners fared on this new budget? My mate has a 2.5l jag and his road tax has gone up to 400 quid (so he says)
humperdingle
I've only had mine a week, but the mileage is looking at about 35 per gallon. Filled up completely today and reset the trip meter, so will find out soon.
Boromir
I usually do 200 to 220 miles to a tank Edited March 27, 2010 by BFG

Andy75
I get just over 30mpg - but then I do a lot of short trips...work is only 1.5 miles away from home, but I'm too fat and lazy to bike it.
KPV4
I'm getting the same mileage (30 - 35 ish) to the gallon but my misses uses it for quite a lot of short journeys. I've had mine 12 months now and its brilliant. I live at the bottom of a hill which is a dead end and this is the first year in the snow I have manages to get out without clearing about 150yards of road and salting it. The jimney has been brilliant never missed to get out even with all the snow we had this year, my car wouldn't move
henry d
35 with a mix of around town and longer (70 mile round trips).
humperdingle
Whatever way you look at this, compare it to my mate's 4+ litre petrol Range Rover at 12 mpg on a good day!
