verminator69 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 Cocker3 phoned me last night you want to go and shoot doos at one of my perms tomorrow big man : meet me at 8.30am Got down to the field at 9.15 not a ****** doo to be seen (farmer had phoned and it was blue on thursday) but to be fair it had p***** o rain all day friday,anyway had a fag and a coffee and watched field for about half an hour one or to started to move on a strong wind things were starting to look up,come on big yin lets give it a go. Decided to put hide up at the far end of the field there was a couple of bushes perfect for hide and a beach strip 80yds to our left. put out about 30 shells 4 floaters and the magnet,didn't even get our ***** in the hide 3 doos straight in happy days birds came steady for a couple of hours had a couple of right and lefts each. and missed a few as well, I don't think the birds were wanting to feed on this field but had a good set up and they decoy beautifly We ended up packing up at 3.30 looked as if it was getting right black behind us, ended up with 73 doos and 2 blackies so for not a doo on the field when we arrived we didn't do so bad.
