tim123
I'm looking at buying an SX3 Flanigun of a member on here, but someone else has already got first dibs on it. In the event the first guy does buy it, i'm going to buy a new one. Is it worth paying out the extra for a Flanigun or should i just buy an SX3 composite? I've been trying to find out what the difference's are between the two but i'm not having much luck, can anyone provide me with some info on these. Fuji Shooter
Sure - Flanigun has a red finish (if you like that sort of thing) also comes with 5 signature chokes (I think the field comes with only 3), has a centre bead fitted and comes in a Red ABS case. Apart from that its the same gun
Cosd
I also think the stock on the Flanigan is made of a different material though it is the same shape. It does look good in the red, but it's a bit like footballers wearing pink boots, look at me is the message. I like the look of the gun and would compliment you on owning one, but not sure I'd shoot one myself! I much prefer to go unoticed.
Fuji Shooter
Less people ask if you are a homesexual and can they have a go with it  The Flanigun has a Pachmayr butt pad, but I am not sure if the field model does but the stock is the same. tim123
Just have to hope the guy doesn't want yours. If it does sell i'm going to have to take a trip to the RFD and get one. Just can't decide if the Flanigun is worth the extra £200 for another two chokes and a hard case. My Urika has a hard case and i never use it. stumacher
I sold my flanigun to mickmep, he's right stop being tight.(he better be looking after her!) Its got better chokes than a standard sx3, the chokes are invector plus not your standard invector, their the same as the chokes in a browning ultra xs. it also comes with two gas pistons so you can use all cartridge loads from 21g up! Plus above all its just Speshal! See the link below flanigun review Edited March 29, 2010 by stumacher

tim123
Before i get called tight again, I'm just asking if its worth the extra money. With any luck, my Beretta will be sold by this time tomorrow and i can get my hands on a new gun. Been looking on gun trader, the Benelli Super Nova also looks like a reallly nice gun. I know its a pump rather than a semi, but i can't find a bad review about them. Also they come with a 5 year warrenty. Does anyone own one of these? Cheers All p.s. Im not tight, lol
mudpatten
Super Nova. Great gun. Well made. Handles well for what it is. Shoots any length cartridge and never jams. With the additional benefit of being cheap. Buy it. You won`t be sorry.

Im not tight, lol got a supernova, cant fault it, nicer than other pumps i've used. when you get the hang of them you can cycle them pretty quick as well. just a bit strange first time you use one if your used to a semi. had to keep remembering to pump it the first time i used it. and good for a tightwad.............cheaper than a flanigan...........but not as red.
