Wait until the Autumn/Winter, I know it sounds daft, but they still dissapear up the trees and think you can't see them!! :good::good:

 

Otherwise, just get to know their favourite spots and routes and pick them off!!

PS....They are easy to bait at home in the garden with a bit of peanut butter, never actually tried out in the wild!! :good:

Thats the best way, try shooting the ******** with an air rifle in summer when the trees are in full bloom, never again I tell thee!

Headshots only as said above,they are very tough,also if you get one run up a tree and hide around the other side take your coat off and put it on the ground or on a stick spread out,then walk around the other side of the tree.

 

Most will be quite close range under 30yards mostly around 15 to 20 yards so check your aiming points.
