Paddy Galore!
use 2 people, either side of the tree, squirrels will sometimes try and use the trunk to hide behind as they climb. Don't shoot each other tho, Keep your muzzles aimed upwards, remember that if you miss, where will your pellet land?
Dekers
Wait until the Autumn/Winter, I know it sounds daft, but they still dissapear up the trees and think you can't see them!! Otherwise, just get to know their favourite spots and routes and pick them off!! ATB!! PS....They are easy to bait at home in the garden with a bit of peanut butter, never actually tried out in the wild!!

Thats the best way, try shooting the ******** with an air rifle in summer when the trees are in full bloom, never again I tell thee!

mick miller
Yup, as above. Headshot only unless using FAC air.
tosspot
Sit quiet, head shots only, be quick before it gets too green, maybe give a gentle squeak to induce a bit of curiosity
flukeyluke
Headshots only as said above, they are very tough, also if you get one run up a tree and hide around the other side take your coat off and put it on the ground or on a stick spread out, then walk around the other side of the tree. Most will be quite close range under 30yards mostly around 15 to 20 yards so check your aiming points.
