garjo
Does anyone know anthing about them? Looing to buy my first sbs and came across them. Think they were japanese made, stopped making circa 1986 - apart from that I know little - not sure what spares are like etc - would appreciate feedback. Thanks

Thanks I had one from new and regretted the day I ever sold it. It was a good gun, the single trigger being my favorite point. They were prone to double discharge though on occasion, but aprt from that they were a great SBS. My one was the later sporter model with win chokes and leather case. Expect to pay anything from £700 and up to a £1000 for a good example. Edited May 9, 2010 by starlight32
Gordon R
I would like to own one. I shot with one about 25 years ago and again three years ago. Very nice guns. Beavertail forend, raised rib. Similar to shooting an O/U.

Hardwoods Green
I have a few 'proper' Winchesters and I know of a local guy that has a very very rare 30" Model 23 Pigeon grade, there was less than 45 of these that ever came into the UK and it is very good although not mint. He is being a bit of a *** though and thinks its worth £1500!! I told him that it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and offered him £950 which he declined. Anyway its there if you want it and I will happily pass on any info

berettaman
I think i would be put off at the thought of it double discharging, its not a comfortable experience as i found when my williams hammer started doing it, mind you thats a double trigger and cost £45 to get regulated and made safe
