maxwell
I was invited by a good friend off here for a days shooting on a field of drilled Barley, there is a good flight line for corvids and at times pigeon. We got there early Saturday morning, watched a while and then set up two hides, i was set up with my back to the wind and directly under the tall trees the pigeon like to drop into. We had some cracking sport, the straight forward into the deeks, fast birds from the right to left, high crows from over the tree line, acompanied with the usual acrobatics from the Jackdaws in the wind, i had a nice double on the rooks and a right n left on the jackdaws. We shot fifty corvids and ten wood pigeon, lost a couple of pigeon and a crow in the tree line, missed the dog, he stayed at home for a change, didnt want to chance it on the crows. Thank you for a cracking day Simon,
