Pigeon Rotary

Recommended Posts

I have always used someone elses rotary and they have always supplied me with a couple of dead birds .Have got my own now and i was wondering if there was a decoy pigeon to go on the end or do you have to shoot a couple of birds first.

Many thanks :good:

You either save a couple of good dead birds when you go out shooting and use next time your out (keep them in the freezer and take them out the previous night to defrost), or I start off with Hyperflaps, if they are working well I leave them on, that's quite often, or replace them with shot birds as and when.

There are a number of decoy options to fit on a rotary including fullbodied decoys with foam wings, all foam spread winged decoys and of course Hypaflaps (probably the best bet).

Have a look at the UKShootWarehouse website for some choices and prices, there is a link at the top of the page, usually. :good:

You could also keep back a couple of dead birds in your freezer, for use on the rotary.

I also use hyperflaps even when i got 2 dead woodys my battery seems to last longer with just the hyperflaps and the movement on them is great :hmm:
