What kind of bag?

I usually take a small rucksack with me when I go out shooting to carry any rabbits in along with a rolled up gun slip (In case I have to cross a road) but I find this a bit cumbersome at times so I was thinking about getting a shooting/fishing shoulder bag instead. Help me out a bit here guys by telling me what do you use and why?

I nicked a canvas shoulder bag off the missus to use and still use it today. Lots of pockets too so I usually have headtorch and a little gunlamp in one pocket, Knives in another, back pocket has my gloves, balaclava etc, main compartment has a carrier bag in it for bugs to go into, then two side pockets, one for a water bottle and the other holds ammo.... Perfect

I've carried about 9 gutted rabbits in it without too much strain.

I have a Game Bag but seldom use it, what I also have is a supply of hole free supermarket size plastic carrier bags, these easily fold up into your back pocket.

Jobs a goodun!

Cheap but effective, and saves carting around a Game Bag all day (always seems a jinx) and no concerns about washing/cleaning after the shoot!

:good::good:

Having spent years trudging across grouse moors weighed down with a game bag, I have come to detest the ******* things! They always slip round your hip and get in the way, and if used whilst only wearing a cotton shirt they will rub your shoulder and neck raw by the end of the day.

I now use Ikea carried sacks when out rabbiting.
