Zapp
What is it doing when it jams? Is it part-reloading the spent case, or is the empty getting stuck halfway out of the ejection port, or is it jamming as it reloads the next cart from the mag etc etc? The gold plated solution would be to take a pic of it next time it jams and post it up on here. My Urika 1 has jammed twice since I got it, over the course of thousands and thousands of carts, so if yours is making a habit of it then something is very wrong. soreshoulder
edit:, just seen that youve tried different cartridges, have you googled your symptoms? i found the american forums very helpful when i was having trouble with my auto Edited June 6, 2010 by soreshoulder
humperdingle
Has the recoil spring been changed recently? Beretta recommend it's replaced every 5,000 rounds. As said, a few more details of how exactly the jams occur would help... Where does the spent cartridge get stuck etc?
berettaman
With something as finely tuned as a semi auto why would some one stick it in a vice for good measure why didnt you just whack it off a wall at the same time i think youd get the same result. Personally with my weapons if something were to go awry and mind its "only my opinion"i would maybe just think about seeing a GUNSMITH But then im only of average intellect BM

mfrcus
Thanks for the replys ,i did buy it 2nd hand from a shop & it was virtualy as new & i doubt it had fired many carts .I suspect the original owner had this prob & traded it in because of it .It is a failure to feed the 2nd cart prob,i've cleaned very well & i don't think its anything like blocked gass holes .It ejects the carts no prob & fires all carts that are 70m (won't eject 65m carts ),i've even tried 21g carts & it fired them ok .I'm currently useing prima 28g's which kick well ,i allso tried lyvevale express today & they worked well but still had the odd failure to feed .I shot 100 clays today & had 4or 5 failures to feed .When it happens if i pull the bolt back it usualy feeds the cart or sometimes it drops out the bottom.Any help would bereat .cheers marcus
Gordon R
You might be right about why it was traded in. My shooting friend, Mark, is considering trading in his low mileage Teknys Gold - same problem with feeding / jamming - twisted carrier. When he twists it the other way, it's okay for a week, but it keeps recurring.

I'm going to order one of the older types of carrier off the 390 because i've heard this solves the problem,if it doesn't then i'll trade it in but not for another berreta .cheers marcus
