apache
£500 is decent money - you could get a decent 2nd hand Beretta for that. Of I could sell you my Winchester 1400, that I bought for a play but doesn't get out much

djrwood
I've got a beretta urika 2 which cost 750 secondhand. Lovely gun. I've seen the urika go for under 500. If not a browning fusion evolve is a great little semi that you will be able to get for around the 500 mark. Dan
MC
Send Mungler a PM, He had a Beretta Ulrika for around the £500 mark. Not sure if he still has it though, it was a steal at that price.

al4x
I've got an ancient Browning B80 that has been pretty much trouble free, only jammed after a spot of rabbit shooting from the combine steps. After I emptied about a handful of chaff from it worked fine
onlyme
Anyone of the leading makes , ie beretta , browning, franchi etc etc, that fits you and works correctly , there all pretty good , you can get a lot for that money in terms of reliable solid equipment, id go for a browning gold fusion (biased), or a beretta , one of the oldies, 302 303, etc depends what your use is and if your going to be using it as a beating club/hammer you never clean or take to the clay ground and clean everytime .....
