RichPWRR
Hi guys, Having just sorted my trigger with a Rimfire Magic Kit (see my older post), i am now reading about the benefits of improving the firing pin spring. A lot of people are talking about the J&P spring. I have just been on the website (in the US) and the cost of shipping the spring to me in the uk is $19 when the spring only costs $8. Does anyone know where in the UK you can get these springs or equivalent and have they made a difference to you rifle. Apparently you get a quicker and more possitive strike which means better grouping etc etc. Any advice would be great Thanks R
hyflier
I would speak to Edgar Bros. I don't know how that J&P spring would affect the operation of the safety catch

It's a CZ workhorse, it works, a precision target rifle it isn't!

al4x
what benefits are there, surely it either goes bang or it doesn't?
RichPWRR
I have been told that it helps with accuracy due to the stronger spring having a quicker strike time and therefore reduces the time where barrel movement would effect the shot. Just what i have read but if you guys say it will not make any difference i may just leave it.

If you are that concerned about it I'm sorry to say you have bought the wrong gun!
