dunganick Posted December 7, 2005 Report Share Posted December 7, 2005 my old man used to use a parkerhale, very effective, quite light, quite slim he now uses an SAK mod, again effective, light and a little bulky, no real reason for the change, just fancied a new one. the SAK's are very popular becuase their cheap, same for the parkerhales. there are a good number of other silencers which are more effective and lighter, but also more expensive. im sure one of the other lads has experiance with the t4 mod (not the reflex type) and some loguns, which would be the other competition i would have thought. Sargeant Bang Posted December 9, 2005 Report Share Posted December 9, 2005 Got a Remmington .22LR semi, it came with a Parker-Hale on it and it's virtually silent. All I hear when I fire it with Subs is the click/clunk of the action bouncing back onto its rubber stopper and then forward again to rest.
