chamber length

Chamber / cartridge length is ALWAYS after firing size. The shot /blast comes out of a spent cartridge into the chamber therefore if it discharged short i.e. 3"cartridge in a 2 3/4" chamber the discharge would take place in the barells and cause catastrophic damage.

i have got some cartridges that say they are 65mm then on a side not say 67.5mm after firing, would these still be ok to fire?

What does the barrel say, and what pressure is it tested for..nobody has asked what gun you have yet, but the odds are you are ok...more info and you will get a specific answer from someone!
